2015 Municipal Election


The City of Pine Lake will hold a municipal election for Mayor and two City Council seats on Tuesday, November 3, 2015.   These seats are currently held by Kathie deNobriga (Mayor), Megan Pulsts and Mike Stuckey (City Council).   Candidates who are elected to fill these seats will serve for a four year term.

In addition, a special election will be held to fill the unexpired Council term of Lynn Ehrlicher. Qualifying and elections will be held in in conjunction with the regular municipal election. There will be 2 years and 6 weeks remaining on this term and the successful candidate will be sworn in at the November 9, 2015 Council meeting.

To be eligible to run, candidates must be a qualified elector (registered voter) of the City, and must have continuously resided in Pine Lake for twelve months immediately preceding the date of the election.


Candidate Qualifying will open at 8:30 a.m. on August 31, and will close at 4:30 p.m. on September 4, 2015. This is the official filing of Notice of Candidacy to have the candidate’s name placed on the ballot.  The qualifying fees are as follows: $108 for Mayor and $18 for Council member.

Voter registration for the election will close at 5:00 p.m. on October 5. A run-off election, if required, will be held on December 1. Polls will be open on Election Day, November 3, and on the day of the run-off election, if required, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Advanced voting locations will be established in accordance with State law.
