City of Pine Lake Staff
Our Pine Lake city staff include a Public Works Director, City Clerk, and Public Works associates.
Phil Howland – Director of Public Works
Phil Howland
Phil Howland started with the City in January of 2002. He has worked for the City in capacity of court clerk, city administrator and Director of Public Works. Phil’s current duties as Public Works Director are maintenance of our parks, stormwater and floodplain administrator, and Chief Zoning Officer. Phil also is the project manager and grant administrator for our environmental projects. He is the City liason to DeKalb County for services delivered by the County to Pine Lake.
Valerie Caldwell – Pine Lake City Clerk.
Valerie Caldwell
Originally from Texas, Valerie moved to Georgia in 1985. She is the mother of 2 children and grandmother of 5. Valerie has worked in municipal government for over 25 years. She obtained her certification as municipal clerk in 1993 and was certified as a finance officer in 2000. Her hobbies include reading, running, and hanging out with her grandchildren.
