Pine Lake boasts a strong neighborhood association with a neighborhood watch program, an increasingly professional and accountable government.

We have a safe community with a lot of park space that has attracted many artists and environmentalists. Polices encouraging home remodeling have resulted in a high percentage-approximately 20% of the existing housing- of updated properties and many new, infill homes being built.

Our Team With an entirely new professional small police force consisting of full-time officers, part-time officers and a few reserve officers. We have a 20-hour police force and work as a team with DeKalb County to fill the time when Pine Lake officers are not on duty. In return Pine Lake also provides fast backup to the Dekalb County police force whenever necessary. Fire and emergency medical services are provided by DeKalb County.
